JMUN Kulübü öğrencilerimiz, 16-18 Mart 2018’de American School of Paris tarafından her yıl geleneksel olarak düzenlenen ve bu yıl konusu “Küresel Isınmaya Karşı” olan JMUN (Junior Model United Nations) Konferansı’na danışman öğretmenleriyle birlikte katıldılar. Öğrencilerimiz komitelerinde bu konuyu tartışıp sorunları ve çözüm önerilerini sundular. 200 öğrenci ve birçok ülkenin katıldığı konferansta, Birleşmiş Milletler konferanslarında kullanılan modelin bir örneğini, diplomatik dil kullanarak sergilediler. Uluslararası bir konferansa katılarak hayat boyu kullanabilecekleri tecrübeler kazana öğrencilerimiz, konferans sonrasında öğretmenleri ile birlikte Paris’i gezme şansı da buldular.
Six of our grade 6 and 7 students, accompanied by their two advisors, recently participated in a JMUN Conference organized by American School of Paris. This year’s topic was “Combating Global Warming” and our students discussed this issue in their respective committees, offered suggestions and tried to find solutions to this global problem. Our students participated in the discussions with over 200 students from all over the world. Besides attending the conference, the students also had the chance to visit Paris and spend some of their free time exploring the city.
